“The AP [Associated Press], the legacy media outlet that dates to the 1800s when telegraph wires were the high-tech way of moving information from one city to another, has admitted that it is getting paid by special interests.
“For its reporting.
“A report from the Washington Standard documents that the wire service confirmed last year it had ‘scored’ $8 million ‘to promote claims of global warming.’”
“The philanthropic quid-pro-quo saw five organizations fund the AP’s dedicated team of ‘more than two dozen journalists’ to cover ‘climate issues’ that the wire service would then plant in papers around the country to terrify Americans into supporting ‘green’ taxes and subsidies,” the report charged.
“The paragon service of journalism did not even bother explaining to its readers what one of the five, Quadrivium, was…beyond a Latin word.” [see note]
“The report said other influencers contributing to AP’s revenue are the Rockefeller Foundation and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation described as ‘AP’s climate sugar daddies.’
“Other influencers include the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Walton Family Foundation.”

Note: The trivium consists of grammar, logic, and rhetoric, while the quadrivium consists of arithmetic, astronomy, music, and geometry, seven subjects in all. Also, see my entry titled, Glaciers (1/2/2023).
