Belgian parish axed

9/30/2024

DerelictDelectation on Reddit provided an explanation of what happened to a parish cut off by the Church.

Today, a longtime rebellious Belgian parish has been removed from the Church:
  • The archdiocese Mechelen-Brussels has removed the Don Bosco Parish Buizingen, one of the most progressive in Belgium, from the Catholic Church.
  • "Masses" were already for a long time not celebrated with a priest and were often led by women.
  • The church building was also used for other purposes, including yoga and dance.
  • Parishioners are disappointed, angry, and sorrowful for what they call "a missed opportunity [to modernize the Church]".
  • The parish wants to be a kind of "laboratory church", an experimental project "where people can find their place".
AP put it differently, saying the parish left the Church.

Latin or Spanish

9/30/2024

Latin is easy to learn for persons fluent in English, and truer than you think. How so? But for French, Latin is closest to English. The abbreviated history of the English language is, Latin to French to English.

William of Normandy became the King of England in 1066. He spoke French, whose direct root is Latin. It was at that point that the language of the Angles and Saxons began mixing with French to form English, but it was not until Geoffrey Chaucer, who died in 1400 as the "Father of English poetry", that we have something like the English of today. By the time of William Shakespeare, who died in 1616, we have modern English.

Latin puts you roughly 1600 years closer in time to Jesus, and He spoke it exactly as it is spoken today. I've been attending the Latin Mass for four years. Two years of HS Latin give me a slight advantage because I understand the hard parts: word order and word endings.

However, learning the language of something you believe in is easy, and the substance of belief is not Spanish.

Wikipedia estimates
  • 28.30% of our words come from French, including Anglo-Norman.
  • 28.24% come from Latin, including legal, scientific, and technical.

Eviscerate the Vatican

Get rid of the pope and every priest, bishop, and cardinal in the Vatican. Exempt the experts who run the Vatican Museum, Archive, and security. Keep the gardeners and janitors. Close the bank and turn management of the money over to a regular bank/investment firm.

Elect a Latin Mass pope who would:
  • cancel all trips and clean up the inside mess
  • sack all bishops and cardinals and pick new ones
  • reinstate cancelled priests and elevate if suitable
  • stop writing encyclicals or anything (no one reads)
  • restate the Catechism of the Council of Trent or Pius X
  • suppress the Jesuits and revamp education
  • stop the preposterous window audience
  • ban the Novus Ordo Mass inside St. Peter’s
  • ban the Novus Ordo Mass gradually worldwide
  • cease talks on ecumenism
  • not associate with elitists
  • not be available for photos or celebrities
  • not have any spokespersons
  • not have press conferences
  • be semi-cloistered
  • say daily Mass openly inside St. Peter's
  • hear daily confessions, same place
  • invite teens and young adults to Saturday lunch
  • invite adults/children to Sunday dinner
  • not restrict tobacco or alcohol for men
  • have an appreciation of music and art
  • eschew theologians
  • be a humble guy

Who could that be? An educated man, as for example, an Abbé le monastique messe en latin Catholique de France.

He could be a Benedictine abbot or one from Lagrasse. March through Fontgombault, Rosans, de Donezan, Randol, Triors, Saint-Joseph de Clairval, Saint-Paul, Sainte-Madeleine, or Sainte-Marie-de-la-Garde, and a good manager will be found.

Catholic priests visited

Published 27 September 2024

Communiqué of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter
Fribourg, September 26, 2024
"The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) has recently been informed by the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life of the opening of an apostolic visitation of the Fraternity.
"As the Prefect of this Dicastery himself made clear to the Superior General and his assistants during a meeting in Rome, this visit does not originate in any problems of the Fraternity, but is intended to enable the Dicastery to know who we are, how we are doing and how we live, so as to provide us with any help we may need.
"The last ordinary apostolic visit of the Fraternity was undertaken in 2014 by the Ecclesia Dei Commission. As the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life has been in charge of the FSSP and other former Eccelsia Dei institutes for the past three years, it is now the competency of this Dicastery to look after the FSSP."

The FSSP priests say the Latin Mass only, which can never be abrogated by a pope, and administer the rites in the pre-Vatican II form. So many Catholics have no idea of what is occurring, but we will not be redacted.
When you are the feminist organization known as the Leadership Conference of Women Religious and receive a visitation, everything is deemed A-OK.
What will happen when you are a Latin Mass fraternity?
And confraternity?

YT's Return to Tradition channel reports that Austrian priest Father Joachim Heimerl said that Francis is an Antichrist. Father said that we, Latin Mass Catholics, are all to be redacted, including the rather silent traditional cardinals. We are not going down with a sinking Arc! Anthony Stine concludes that Heimerl is bound to be canceled.

Genesis

1 So the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the furniture of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made: and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.
3 And he blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
4 These are the generations of the heaven and the earth, when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the heaven and the earth.
5 And every plant of the field before it sprung up in the earth, and every herb of the ground before it grew: for the Lord God had not rained upon the earth; and there was not a man to till the earth.
6 But a spring rose out of the earth, watering all the surface of the earth.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the slime of the earth: and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

Augustine (354-430) argued that a close reading has the following meaning: the six days of Creation are not chronological. Rather, they are a way of categorizing God’s work of creation. God created the world in an instant but continued to develop and mold it.

All persons are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. The greatest threats to civilization remain China; Marxist-Leninists; democrats; radicalized Islamists and greenies; and Francis.

Ngô Đình Thục

Archbishop of Huế, Vietnam

Pierre Martin Ngô Đình Thục (1897 - 1984) was a member of the Ngô family who ruled South Vietnam in the years leading up to the Vietnam War and the founder of Dalat University.

While Thục was in Rome attending the second session of Vatican II, the 1963 South Vietnamese coup overthrew and assassinated his younger brother, Ngô Đình Diệm, who was president of South Vietnam.

Thục was unable to return to Vietnam and lived the rest of his life exiled in Italy, France, and the United States.

The Vietnamese surname comes first, then middle name, then first name.
Madame Nhu's children …
  • Ngô Đình Lệ Thủy was born in Hue in 1945. She died on 12 April 1967, in an automobile accident in Longjumeau, France.
  • Ngô Đình Trác (son) was born in Dalat in 1949. He graduated with a degree in agricultural engineering, married an Italian woman, and had 4 children. He had a stroke and died in 2021.
  • Ngô Đình Quỳnh (son) was born in Dalat in 1952. He graduated from ESSEC (École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales), a private school training professionals in the economy, and currently works as a trade representative for a U.S. company in Brussels, Belgium.
  • Ngô Đình Lệ Quyên was born in Saigon in 1959. She received a PhD from the University of Rome. Lệ Quyên was a lawyer in the legal IT sector and was invited as a guest lecturer at presentations by Law Faculty of the University of Rome. She served as Commissioner of Immigration Caritas Europe. On 16 April 2012, she was killed in a traffic accident on the way to work in Rome.

Trilingual Vietnamese/French/English, plus Latin, she was de facto First Lady of Vietnam because her brother-in-law, the president, was a bachelor. The family was devout and sacrificial.

The Vietnamese and SSPX greatly admire
Pierre Martin Ngô Đình Thục.
I had numerous Vietnamese family friends and contacts in the 1980s.

I have written about Father Joe Devlin, SJ. He was a missionary in South Vietnam (Mekong Delta). Assisted by an official of the US Embassy, he escaped on the last helicopter that lifted off from its roof.
His brother, Father Ray Devlin, SJ, baptized my siblings and me in 1961. The Devlin's lived at 431 Jersey St., San Francisco. When Ray gave us instruction, he lived on the University of San Francisco campus, and we lived in the University Mound District.

Here are some barbaric comments made by US officialdom, First Estate and Fourth Estate:

When President Kennedy authorized the overthrow of the
Diệm government, he said, "I don't know how good of a Catholic she is anyway." An adulterer projects.

For her efforts, journalist David Halberstam called her a “beautiful but diabolic sex dictatress.”

FYI:  Among the eighteen members of Diệm's cabinet, there were five Catholics, five Confucians, and eight Buddhists, including a vice-president and a foreign minister. Only three of the top nineteen military officials were Catholics.

Sisters of Sion

9/25/2024

Stay away from the Congregation of the Sisters of Sion. They are apostates, specifically Maureena Fritz, NDS (living), and Emmanuelle Cinquin, NDS (dead). In the latter case, avoid anything she has written. She approved of contraception and priests marrying. Avoid any schools they operate.

These women deny the divinity of Christ and have not been condemned by the Francis church. He denies that Christ is the only way to Heaven. Just recently he said that divine inspiration is present in every faith. Neither he nor they can be considered members of the Roman Catholic Church any longer.

For what reason are they not on the Index Liborum Prohibitorum? That was a list of books considered dangerous to the faith and morals of Roman Catholics, compiled starting around 1600 and published in Latin and translation by the Vatican starting in 1632. The list protected Catholics from reading anything considered disruptive, including editions and translations of the Bible not approved.

Publication ceased in 1966!

confession

This was the subject of the sermon on last Sunday.

When you go confession and receive absolution, everything is forgotten. God forgets, and the priest forgets you even went to confession. A majority of Catholics either don't go or don't know. They remember every wrong thing you've done, or think you've done. This gives them a sense of power over you. Push them away.

Catholic rumble

9/23/2024

I've heard the rumble and seen with my own eyes what I tried to refute in the past. Too many American bishops to ignore are either double S and/or blackmailed, or enjoying their privilege and the lay Catholic sycophants around them and their positions of power. I refuse to contribute one more dime to Caesar.

Monsignor Jeffrey Burrill, the Grindr priest now suing the double S app, is a priest/administrator of St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish in West Salem, Wisconsin. He was appointed to this role by Bishop William Patrick Callahan on June 11, 2022. Burrill is unlisted at the church's website. Uh-huh. A priest leading a double life is the same as an adulterer.

They smell worse than a misfit encampment. Let's not scratch them anymore, sack their bank accounts, restart the Church from the bottom up, and exile these folks one by one. The battle is inevitable. If we can't secure the United States, we will secure the Catholic Church.

Chopin's inspiration

John Field, Ireland 1782 (died Russia 1837)
Frédéric Chopin, Poland 1810 (died France 1849)
Field was the first Nocturne composer, and Chopin was the second. Field wrote 18, and Chopin wrote 21. This one is the one that got Chopin started. I could say Field was the godfather and Chopin his godson. The piano world loves Chopin. Both taught. Compare this piece with

Les chevaliers du ciel translates to Sky Fighters, The Knights of the Sky. Sky Fighters is the name of a 2005 French film about two air force pilots stopping a Bastille Day terrorist attack. The music video stars French Air Force Mirage 2000 fighter jets. The movie is based on the comic series Tanguy et Laverdure, also adapted into a popular 1967-1969 TV series.

SSPX refutes Francis

9/22/2024

You might have to listen more than once because the priest has a French accent ("door of the sheep"), but what he preaches is Truth that cannot be waved away by any hand.

Pope Benedict XVI lifted the excommunication of four bishops from the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) on January 21, 2009.

The excommunication had been in place since July 1, 1988, when the bishops were ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in defiance of Pope John Paul II's orders. See SSPX plan for a fuller explanation.

This is the last time I refute the lie that the SSPX is outside the Church. If you can't overcome yourself, please visit someone else's website.

Francis preaches indifferentism. Indifferentism is the belief that no religion is superior to another. When will he be declared anathema?

"My God is more important than yours." How can Jorge, aka adult Francis, use such childish words in school, you ask?

Catholic Junior College offers a two-year pre-university course that prepares students for the GCE 'A' Level examination. The college also offers H3 courses, which are similar to
American high school honors courses or the UK's S papers.

Jorge has never been around teens in any significant way. He and his cohorts hang around each other. That is how.

Bullitt, the Chase

1968 film

More about cameras, sound equipment, McQueen (38)...
https://www.tunnelram.net/news-blog/2019/10/11/bullit-how-the-greatest-car-chase-was-filmed

The movie was shot entirely on location. At the beginning of the choreographed scene is the Auto-Torum at 701 Chestnut, corner of Columbus. Now it is an Academy of Art building with some 30 studios.

My father taught me how to drive on these streets in a stick shift in 196
8. It was on the Gough Street hill at Washington that my father congratulated me. I was very nervous. Two cars were in front of me, one behind. One had to raise the foot on the clutch just enough to not lurch forward or roll back down the hill.

One evening inside a Chestnut studio I was talking with a masterful painter/sculptor. He explained all about Carrara marble, how it glows and how much it costs.

On another evening I picked up three still lifes from the discard bin and hung them in my kitchen.

quincunx

One geometric arrangement popular in Catholic art is called the quincunx, an arrangement of five equivalent shapes that have four arranged symmetrically around the fifth which is centrally placed. The five dots on dice are in a quincunx shape.

Quincunx is the geometrical equivalent of the traditional image of Christ in Majesty. Around the central image of the enthroned Christ are four figures representing the four evangelists carrying the Word to the four corners of the world.

Cunx, from uncia, means 1/12.
Decussate (Latin origin) as an adjective means shaped like an X.

French churches

9/22/2024

During the French Revolution, Catholic churches were confiscated, and then in 1905, a left-wing government ended state funding and restated that all church buildings belong to the state. Ownership of abbeys varies, depending on the abbey and its history. What is our answer to confiscatory power? We live in this world but are not part of it? I could think of something else to say.

Subsidiarity
In Catholicism, the ideal of authority at the lowest level is called "subsidiarity", which means that decisions and actions should be handled by the smallest, most local competent authority possible, rather than deferring to a higher level unless absolutely necessary.

Pope Leo XIII
In 1891, Pope Leo XIII's encyclical Rerum novarum first formally developed the principle of subsidiarity. This encyclical was an attempt to find a middle ground between socialism and laissez-faire capitalism.

Pope Pius XI
In 1931, Pope Pius XI's encyclical Quadragesimo anno further developed the principle of subsidiarity. This encyclical was a response to the social dissolution caused by revolutionaries. He applied the principle to the relationship between individuals and the community, and between higher and lower organizations.

These popes gave support to the ideal that Rhodesians sought, keeping solutions to social questions there in Rhodesia, which led to the declaration of independence from Britain.

Mugabe was a disgraceful, disgraceful Catholic, and if he isn't in Hell, my eyes aren't blue.
