Yesterday, around 3:30pm, a homeless man stabbed a man pumping gas. The assailant asked for money and stabbed the man pumping gas when he said no. The assailant then fled up the steep hill behind the gas station. No other information is available as the matter is under investigation.
We think he might be a vagrant hitching rides because we are right next to I-80 and seldom see homeless. Both gas stations have external cameras. The hill he ran up is about 1/4 mile from home.
