I compiled a short list of good American bishops, a list no one has made. Good means outspokenly faithful to the unchanging teachings of the Catholic Church on faith and morals: Aquila, Barber, Chaput, Conley, Cordileone, Hying, Naumann, Paprocki, Sample, and Strickland. Another way to construct a list is to look at FSSP locations. Please suggest additions. I would like there to be a comprehensive list. For us, its existence could stricken or strengthen.
