I did some calculations. In my youth, I went from not being Catholic, to being Catholic, to not being Catholic inside of 208 months (17 1/3 years).

Not halfsies yet, but, in September 2020 the congregation of St. Stephen Sacramento was one half as big as it is now.

Up to April 1, 1961, I was not Catholic. On April 1, 1961, I was baptized a Catholic. On April 3, 1969, the Vatican II Mass was promulgated. I was not Catholic again. Up to September 2020, I was not Catholic. In September of 2020, because of the virus, I found the Latin Mass and was Catholic again. This is not a statement on validity. I don’t give a toot about that. I just know what I know to be so.​

I picked December 1, 1969, as the start of the “New” Mass because, although there are several dates, I saw it by that date.
