Thank You, Bobby, You are too kind!
If I were pope, I would make You, as an ex-cop, to be the commander of my life guard! Oh no, that’s not possible, as You aren’t Swiss 🇨🇭! But if I were a Habsburg Emperor, of course I could give You a position within the armed forces. There was an Irish general named Butler serving under Emperor Ferdinand II during the Thirty Years’ War. He was also a character in Friedrich Schiller’s stage play Wallenstein. Those are comments from Joe, my tutor in Austria. Joe is also Jesuit-educated, and both of us are sore at the Jesuits for what they have become. Excerpt from Wikipedia: “In 1632 he [Butler] joined the armed forces under Wallenstein, who, in view of the Swedish progress, had been again appointed Imperial commander-in-chief by Emperor Ferdinand II… “When Wallenstein's treachery was discovered in 1632, it was Butler who saved the Empire and arranged his assassination in 1634… “Emperor Ferdinand II created him a Count (Graf) of the Empire, bestowed on him the domain of Friedberg, and presented him with the Imperial Gold Chain. “Walter Butler remained in the emperor’s service and died while fighting at Schorndorf on 25 December 1634.”
