NorCal: This coming weekend is the Lyrid Meteor Shower, and its best viewing time during the New Moon phase, meaning no moonlight, will be midnight to dawn, April 22 and 23, with 10-20 meteors per hour. Appearing from the constellation Lyra, the shower is space debris from Comet Thatcher, through which Earth passes each April. Let your eyes adjust for about 30 mins to see the shower.
