Murr, 72, speaks about the deception that brought about the New Mass in 1969. None of us knew what was going on at the time. This makes me angry.
An October 1969 lofty letter from God brought me my vocation to religious life, the very year the New Mass was instituted. At the second meeting with my confessor, a very kind man, a brochure for the Society of Jesus was presented, and on the front was a picture of two young Jesuits in cassocks, and I said to myself this is what I want.
About two months later he handed me a new brochure and gone was the picture. On the front was an unmemorable photo, probably a generic sunrise or sunset, and an instant awareness of change came over me. Now I was looking at something not liked and not wanted.
I was 17, some months away from graduation, and it must have been Our Lord residing inside me for nine years at that point who let me know in a million different ways that change was wrong.
Mass of the Ages, which is under the More Tab, interviewed Murr and covers the same material, but in this video there are many more details, and Murr names names. Finally, we have names.
What happens in the Catholic Church changes the world. Traditional Catholics around the world, especially in the USA, will resist the evil in the Church as embodied in the New Mass until we are dead, and from Heaven, too.
My anger graduated. Now it is resistance.
Noteworthy is the fact that my Latin Mass parish is filled with young people, none of whom know this abominable history. I received a call today from the 24-year-old I sponsored for Confirmation, and, for better or for worse, he is unaware of what happened.
