As you know, Archbishop Cordileone of San Francisco banned Pelosi from receiving communion for her outspoken support of abortion. Bishop Vasa of the Santa Rosa Diocese told the pastor of her parish in the Napa Valley, St. Helena Catholic Church, that the ban followed her.

She ignored the authority of Cordileone and received communion at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington DC and at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. She had met with the pope, and he, too, had ignored the ban.

It was reported that she sought the help of priests to exorcise her home in San Francisco. The pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, her parish in San Francisco, said that none of his priests were involved.

“The confirmation of the ‘exorcism’ came from Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra, who said in an interview with a [The] New York Times writer, ‘I think that [the communion ban] weighed really heavy on her soul. I think she felt really guilty.’”

So, who is involved? The report comes from a non-Catholic outfit, and, for example, they do not follow capitalization rules I follow. I read or scan with Catholic eyes, and the report gets it mostly right, but the whole matter sounds fishy.

An interesting story! I don't know why, but this old hag intrigues me...
