I was speaking to a nun. She told me that the average age of her province is 80. It would be useless to tell her that the average age of the FSSP is 35. If I asked how many altar “servers” there are at her parish, she wouldn’t know, because it is not important. It would be useless to tell her we have 110 altar boys, because it is important. Timeless tradition has escaped the notice of some.
