Alexander and I read Passage 4, p 468, Reading Comprehension, from the Princeton Review’s 900 Practice Questions for the Upper Level SSAT & ISEE (2014). The passage is from the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) given to 8th graders.
The story is about Liu Xiaobo (1955-2017), President of the Independent Chinese Center and the magazine Democratic China and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2010.
I was browsing the ISEE to find something good, and when I found Xiaobo and read the story, I learned more about China. He said that the westernization of China is a good thing.
