Koalas have fingerprints. In 1907, people were able to buy the semi-automatic Winchester Model 1907. It could be purchased from a Sears catalogue and be delivered by the US Post Office. It was a high powered, centerfire rifle with a detachable, high-capacity magazine. About 400,000 semi-automatic rifles were produced before WWII. Civilians had hundreds of thousands for 40 years. The 1907 fired just as fast as an AR15 or AK47, and the bullet (.351 Winchester) was larger than those fired by the modern weapons. How to stop drunk drivers from killing sober drivers? Ban sober drivers from driving, same as banning responsible gun owners from owning guns. Koalas have no money - thank goodness.

Statement from APD: Subject: Child Molestation Arrest Release By: Tucker Huey, Lieutenant On June 5, 2022, the Auburn Police Department was notified of an extremely concerning incident involving an adult male and two children. Patrol Officers initiated an investigation and summoned the assistance of detectives. Through their investigation they were able to determine 65-year-old Keith Richard Jones invited the two children, a seven and a nine-year-old, into his home on the 100 block of Marvin Way. Jones reportedly exposed himself, showed the children sexually explicit images, and inappropriately touched one of the children. The children fled the residence and reported the occurrences to their parents. On June 7, 2022, the Auburn Police Department obtained and executed a search warrant at Jones residence. Jones was arrested at his home and booked into the Placer County Jail for violation of 288a PC – Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a Child, 288.2 PC – Sending Harmful Material to Seduce a Minor, and 288.4(a)(1) PC – Arranging a Meeting with a Minor for Lewd Purposes. He is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail. The Auburn Police Department recognizes protecting children as one of our most significant duties. We are committed to quickly and thoroughly investigating these matters and providing a safe community. Lieutenant Bryan Morrison stated, “I’m extremely proud of these children for coming forward with this incident. Their courage is helping us to ensure no one else will be victimized.” If anyone has any information relevant to this crime or any others that may have been committed by this suspect, please contact the Auburn Police Department (530) 823-4234. This makes sense because no amount of gun legislation or expectations of police will make a difference if psychopaths have easy access.
“In Middletown, New Jersey, the Board of Education has voted to hire retired police officers to protect their schools. This is a rational measure that will provide actual safety for students and staff. “The new Class III special officers will carry duty weapons and be assigned to each of the district’s 16 schools. They must have retired within the last three years and be younger than 65.” thinlinenews.com staff writers June 7, 2022 I left my position at the Academy of Art University at the end of 2016. At that time, after 8 PM I could get to any one of our buildings in the downtown area, and there were many buildings, within three to four minutes, and that was without a siren on my patrol vehicle or the ability to run a red light. My supervisor at the time had been vice president of the San Francisco Police Officers Association (SFPOA), and the president he served under is a family friend. The SFPOA says it like it is...tragic.
