PSA (Pacific Southwest Airlines) is a brand name owned by American Airlines. The story is about a fired PSA employee who killed the pilots, his former boss, a stewardess, and either an off-duty pilot or himself and everyone aboard Flight 1771 (LAX to SFO) when the airplane crashed at the speed of sound into San Luis Obispo farmland.
The murderer was David Burke, and the date was Dec. 7, 1987. Also killed were three executives of Chevron USA, including the CEO, and employees of Pacific Bell. I flew the midnight flier for $10 back in 1972-73 when I was attending Loyola, which is located just minutes from LAX. https://forensictales.com/murder-on-board-psa-flight-1771/
