"Just reported on channel 10 news at 5:00 that retail store thefts are happening so frequently that stores aren't even trying to stop them for their employees' safety. Shopping carts full of merchandise from a Target store were being filmed by customers.
"Now we've all read and heard about these grab and runs, but for news media to state that stores aren't doing anything to stop them is ridiculous. Isn't that like giving teens, adults, anyone, an invitation to do it? They interviewed Target and Retail Association, and they are trying to change the laws and are working with law enforcement.
"I can't believe that retail store insurance companies would pay for stolen goods if nothing is being done to stop it."
The same stories are being told in every major US city.
