A monitored laptop or tablet is all that is needed for Zoom or another platform if used for school. No phone is needed. Though I opted for something else, UC Berkeley accepted me at 17, and that is still doable without a phone in the hands of a minor. Law enforcement needs help to put an end to child abuse.
