A relative, whose name I cannot say, taught first grade at a public school in San Francisco for 30 years. In her 29th year, she took a leave of absence for surgery to remove a cancerous kidney. She recuperated and returned to work. In the teacher lunchroom, she overheard one teacher say to another, “Miss xxxx is the only white teacher left in the school. We have to figure a way to get her out.” She was the kind of first grade teacher you would want for your children: sweet, caring, and nonaggressive. She could not cope, found another school, and completed her 30 years in education.
Jefferson Elementary School District in California is set to be the first district in the U.S. to include ethnic studies classes in all elementary and middle schools. The second unit of the curriculum claims that America is a white supremacist country that is institutionally racist. It accuses white people of using the system of white supremacy to maintain their “wealth, power, and privilege.” The district is in Daly City, CA, next door to San Francisco, and serves roughly 6,000 students in ten elementary schools and four middle schools. One of my cousins, who graduated from St. Ignatius High School in San Francisco, attended Stanford University on a football scholarship, and was a lifelong Catholic, taught history at Jefferson High School. No doubt the large-sized man would not have submitted to bullying or a lying history curriculum.

I had to check the spelling because his name sounds like roach. I am keeping track of the attack inside and outside the Church. Modernists, secularists, and leftists are deaf and dumb, unaware that they are growing the resistance every day. Roche is an ignoramus.
Relativism denies absolute truth, the possibility of sin and God, and the capacity of the human mind and reason to arrive at truth.

I watched Ready Player One (2018), a fantasy set in a virtual reality world. The movie has beautiful graphics, but it is constant killing and coming back to life. The only way I knew I was looking at avatars, not real people, was the eyes. The enemy company resembles Scientology but show me one world leader today who is not a megalomaniac.
My little Alexander wants to spend all our time collaborating on his new screenplay, which we act out with all his wonderful rifles and nerf bullets. He shot me in the face yesterday, but I have hit my target more often. I am a better shot. Alexander is Sho in the movie, and that tells you something.
The new screenplay is about zombies dying and coming back to life, and his mind is filled with images of volcanoes, magma, and deep water chambers. Sometimes, I am able to come up with a word that he needs for what is in his head, and I amaze both of us. Watching the movie helped me understand the importance of objective and obstacle in a screenplay.
Alexander (8) likes cryptography and spies. Cryptography is a means of communication that allows only the sender and recipient of a message to view its contents. The term is derived from the Greek word kryptos, which means hidden. If a message is intercepted by a third party who has everything needed to decrypt the message, the code is broken.
Named after Julius Caesar, who used a code for his military messages, the Caesar cypher was simple, yet it took years to break. All you do is substitute each letter in the alphabet by shifting it right or left by a specific number of letters.
A cryptarithm is a mathematical cypher that Alexander learned today. You turn any addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problem into a cryptarithm by replacing letters with numbers.

For those who have never been, it is a little chaotic, but my attitude is, if the building fell down around us, in Paris or here in Sacramento, it would not matter. I’m tired of us. Let’s return to 2021 and look abroad to my favorite comprehensive school, which is in St. Petersburg! Ballet is Russia’s national honor. I prefer watching exams over performances while waiting for a 2022 update.
I googled a certain phenomenon and got lies from mainstream news media, which I no longer watch, and then I visited worldwide Quora. The question was framed this way: “Why are there so many black people in commercials? They're 12% of the population but seem to be in 90% of commercials.”
The answers were truthful. I did not comment, but I will add an explanation here. Before I proceed, let me say that I have received communion and absolution from the hands of men born in the Philippines, Argentina, Poland, Nigeria, Ireland, and the US. That is more leveling than anything anyone can say to me.
Television reflects the connection between the federal government and big business. A while back I was a writer analyst in the state tax division of Wolters Kluwer. One of my friends was in the government contracts department. It was small, but he spent 100% of his time writing and editing content for the Government Contracts Reporter publication.
His work, which I read occasionally, highlights this fact: the federal government makes almost nothing. It contracts out work to corporations from all over the US and the world. If those companies want contracts, they must be on good terms with the federal government, which means complying with superabundant regulations and practices imposed on them by the federal government. (Lobbying is a separate category about which I know very little.)
Hence, big corporations hire big advertising agencies to make big commercials filled with black people to remain on good terms with the present federal administration’s wokeness. A TV show entitled, The Kings of Napa, is about a black family and its winery in Napa, CA. The show trailer glorifies wealth and does not present good role models for young people. I lived in the Napa Valley for fifteen years. There are several black-owned wineries, but the black population of Napa County is 2%. Warner Brothers is just another big business.
This leads me to what I want to say about school.
Government has a monopoly that reaches even into private schools. One of my students applied to several private high schools in San Francisco. The BLM logo is on one school website. One of my parents expressed surprise that Americans have so little knowledge of life under Marxism. I told her indoctrination begins very early in the schooling of an American.
She is worried that college admissions racial quotas, which are disgraceful, will disadvantage her US-born son. I told her that her son is gifted and will find a way to success. She also made me aware that illegal immigration has pushed other people farther back in the line, and COVID has added two more years of delay for those seeking citizenship by legal means. Fortunately, her son is a citizen, and he is now homeschooled.

Baroque music, art, and architecture emerged as the Catholic response to the protestant revolt and invincible ignorance. Baroque is elegant and intricate, classical and bright, visual and cerebral. The artists received the patronage of the Catholic Church and Catholic royalty. The significant event inaugurating it all was the Council of Trent 1545-1563.
Perhaps, something like Baroque will emerge from the current attempt in the Vatican and a parallel attempt in the Western world to destroy truth, beauty, and goodness. Sadly, many Catholics are unaware and want to stay dumb, and they could be described as ostriches (see the entry on Strauss). There is hope that exceptional Catholics will emerge (see the entry on new Catholic schools).
