Paragraph 1869 [Complicity] [S]in makes men accomplices of one another and causes concupiscence, violence, and injustice to reign among them. Sins give rise to social situations and institutions that are contrary to the divine goodness. “Structures of sin” are the expression and effect of personal sins. They lead their victims to do evil in their turn. In an analogous sense, they constitute a “social sin.” Paragraph 2272 [Abortion] Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life. “A person who procures a completed abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae,” “by the very commission of the offense,” and subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law. The Church does not thereby intend to restrict the scope of mercy. Rather, she makes clear the gravity of the crime committed, the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death, as well as to the parents and the whole of society. Many American Catholics have voted, or will vote, for Joe. This is the state of the Catholic Church – no logic or moral guidance. Forget about diverting attention to someone else. I'm going to quote my Austrian friend, Joe Ketzer, also a tutor:
Today is the feast of my Patron Saint. It was introduced in 1955 under Pope Pius XII as St. Joseph the Worker (The Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the BVM, Patron of the Universal Church). He had a very challenging life, providing for the Holy Family, managing the escape to Egypt, sometimes one of his clients might have run out of assets and couldn't have paid for the built house - maybe Jesus was inspired by such an event for His parable of the unfinished tower (Luke 14, 28). At least he was spared as witness to the cruel death of Jesus. In the FSSP magazine of Austria I read that there's a tradition that believes that St. Joseph was among the deceased who were resurrected immediately after Christ's dying on the cross and appeared to many people in Jerusalem after the Resurrection. Not a dogma, but a beautiful story. “Obviously, the Catholic Church does not favor a theocracy, in which the state would be ruled by God through His representatives, the clergy. Rather, the ideal state as taught by the Church is the Catholic confessional state. In such a setup, Church and state each have their separate domains, but ultimately both are working towards the same end, and the state is always subject to the Church, albeit indirectly. Pope Leo XIII laid out all the principles on Church-state relations in his encyclical letter Immortale Dei (1885), but of course this was all overthrown by Roncalli‘s robber synod known as the Second Vatican Council (1962-65).”
novusordowatch.org Another priest cancelled: Father Thomas Held. Who did it? Bishop Robert Gruss, 68, Saginaw, MI. Gruss ordained him, then canned him. It can be inferred that the perpetrator behind the scenes staged the whole thing to get Held ousted. Numbers of Catholics have no experience when dealing with the possibility of malice aforethought. Also, there are two priests in the diocese who wear suit and tie for the official diocesan photo. That alone signals something is wrong. But for Held, none, including the bishop, hold beliefs in line with what the Church teaches. It's all about protecting themselves and sinecures.
Magdalene’s Complaint at Christ’s Death Thirty-four-year-old Robert was beheaded and quartered at Tyburn on Feb. 21, 1595, for the crime of being a Catholic priest. He came from the Douay-Rheims group (NT - 1582, OT - 1609-1610).
Southwell and Shakespeare “Apart from their mutual acquaintance with the Earl of Southampton, and the strong circumstantial evidence that they must have known each other within the confines of London’s close-knit Catholic recusant community, the strongest evidence for Southwell’s and Shakespeare’s friendship is to be found in their respective works. … “Shortly before his capture in July 1592, Southwell had been working on a manuscript of his poems and had penned a Preface addressed to the author’s ‘Loving Cousin’. Since Southwell and Shakespeare were distant cousins, it has been conjectured that the Preface was addressed to Shakespeare, though others have suggested that the ‘Cousin’ in question was perhaps Southampton, since Southwell’s brother and sister had each married Southampton’s first cousins. “Either way, the Preface itself is an appeal to poets in general, or perhaps to Shakespeare in particular, to use their God-given talents in the service of the Giver of them: ‘Poets, by abusing their talents, and making the follies and feignings of love the customary subject of their base endeavours, have so discredited this faculty, that a poet, a lover, and a liar, are by many reckoned but three words of one signification….’” theimaginativeconservative.org/2023/07/romeo-jesuits-robert-southwell-joseph-pearce.html#:~:text=Since%20Southwell%20and%20Shakespeare%20were,each%20married%20Southampton's%20first%20cousins. From the curator This picture, made at a moment when public celebrations of the Mass were forbidden in the Dutch Republic, draws on the complex language of allegory to depict the triumph of the Catholic Church. A woman, representing the church itself, places one foot atop a globe, while in the foreground the cornerstone of the church crushes the serpent of evil. Vermeer converted to Catholicism before his marriage, and this painting, which includes a table laden with chalice, missal, and crucifix, may also refer to the celebration of the Mass in "hidden churches" within private homes. The Crucifixion scene in the background is based on a painting in Vermeer’s collection by the Flemish artist Jacob Jordaens. I am posting this short story for a second time for a reason. It first appeared on 6/08/2023. Ever made to feel like an outsider? The boy/young man climbs a black tower and finds an image that is shunned and cast out. I made a decision affirmed today by another. As I said when the story was first posted, one of my students feels shunned on account of his genius. His math tutor and I survived a slew of tutors and therapists because we are nonconformists. My shunning is for a different reason, for no reason at all. The Stanislaus is known for its swift rapids and scenic canyons in the upper reaches, and is heavily used for irrigation, hydroelectricity, and domestic water supply.” -Wikipedia Stanislaus County and Stanislaus River (Rio de Estanislao) are named after a man educated at Mission San José, Estanislao, leader of the Lakisamni tribe of the Yokuts people of northern California, after Saint Stanislaus the Martyr. My family rafted the rapids several times. Saint Stanislaus “Saint Stanislaus was a humble man. He desired to live in poverty and to this end gave away all his wealth when he became a priest. Contrary to his desires, however, he was elected bishop of Krakow. He took up the see only after the pope explicitly ordered him to do so. “His holy office brought him into the sphere of the Polish king—Boleslaus, a corrupt and cruel man. King and bishop frequently fell into conflict as Stanislaus sought to convert the king or intercede on behalf of his subjects. “One day, Stanislaus purchased land for the church from a man named Piotr. When this man died soon afterward, his family tried to reclaim the land, and Boleslaus sided with them. “When Stanislaus learned of this, he strode into the court and asked for three days to produce the witness of the purchase—none other than Piotr himself. The king, laughing at such an obviously impossible request, granted the three days to the bishop. “The bishop spent that time fasting and praying. On the third day, he dressed in full episcopal regalia, went to the cemetery, and begged God to raise Piotr from his grave. Immediately, Piotr rose out of the earth. “Bishop and resurrected man went to the court, where Piotr gave his evidence and rebuked his greedy family. The king quickly declared that Stanislaus did indeed own the land. Bishop and resurrected man returned to the cemetery, where Stanislaus asked Piotr if he would like to continue living. Piotr, however, declined, preferring to return to his eternal rest. “Despite this demonstration of the bishop’s holiness and communion with God—or perhaps because of it—Boleslaus continued to clash with him. Finally, in 1079, the king murdered Stanislaus with his own hands as the saint stood at the altar. Like the Poland of St. Stanislaus’s day, the current political scene is perilous for the devout Catholic. Evangelization and Ideology provides inspiration as it breaks down the four prominent secular ideologies of our day and shows how our broken society is a chance to evangelize and uphold Truth with Stanislaus-like courage and hope. The Catholic Company My Church shall not be silenced. President George Washington, father of the country, made the first contribution, equivalent to $1,200 today, for the creation of a Catholic parish.
This painting is magnificent for the way Jesus looks at Joseph. I had a dream in my teens.
It was a pleasant day. My family was aboard a Spanish galleon manned by sailors. Suddenly, a storm approached. The sky grew dark, and a whirlpool lay ahead. The ship was sucked into the melee. Death was certain. We were thrown out of the whirlpool at the other end. All the sailors were missing. Land was a short distance away. It was black, and the edge of the mountain running the length of the picture was backlit by bright light. The current took us to the land, and we disembarked. A steep, straight stone staircase guided us through a black forest on either side, not so dark that I could not see tree branches that would poke out an eye if it were not for the light over the mountain. The stones led us to the wooden staircase of a mansion, lit up inside and easily viewable with one side of the house removed. We ascended the stairs to the top and looked left, down a long, balustraded hallway with three closed doors on the right. I knew my mission was to reach the end of the hallway and the closed door that was there. I opened it. Inside was an endless chasm filled with fire, and on the opposite endless wall was Christ in fresco. I knew instantly that I had to jump across the chasm through the fire and cling to Him with my fingernails. I turned, and my family was gone. I walked to the first door and opened it, and therein were my two sisters and mother, one seated, the other two standing, crying. I asked, “What is the matter?” They said, “It’s impossible.” I said, “No, it isn’t. Follow me.” Out the door I went and back to the fire. I gathered every ounce of courage I had and prepared to jump. I looked back for the courage the women could give me. I looked at Christ. It ended. The practice of veiling changed my view. You only know only because I say so. My soul is invisible, revealed some in the blog, but, as Aquinas said about his eight million words, they are straw...to be looked at and burned. A Letter from Chile: Surviving the Post-Conciliar Wasteland (written by a 20-year-old) “The situation is similar in other countries in Latin America. For example it is no secret how the Mexican hierarchy is persecuting the FSSP which is trying to establish itself in Mexico.[5] In the Caribbean, Father Sixto Eduardo Varela Santamaría in Costa Rica was suspended and sent by his Bishop to a psychiatric hospital for moderately attempting the ‘Reform of the Reform’ in his Parish.[6] (Tradition is a mental disease for the hierarchy.) “And this inquisitorial persecution has just worsened after Traditionis Custodes, especially in Costa Rica were Traditionalists were 'mercied' to death by their Bishops. Nevertheless, in places like Mexico, Perú, and Argentina, the traditional faith lives on even without the Latin Mass—it is burned into the heart of every mestizo race by Our Lady of Guadalupe, Empress of the Americas.” … [2] Cardinal Francisco Javier Errázuriz Ossa was appointed by Pope Francis in 2013 to the Council of Cardinal Advisors. He was forced to resign in 2018 as he was being investigated for sexual abuse cover up. His successor as Archbishop of Santiago, Ricardo Ezzati Andrello (who was made a Cardinal by Pope Francis in 2014), was also involved and forced to resign, and Juan Barros Madrid who was made Bishop of Osorno by Pope Francis was also forced to resign for his direct involvement in sexual abuse. Trying to protect them, the Pope personally dismissed as false the accusations when he came to Chile. But when these accusations were sadly proven to be true, the extremely close collaboration of the Pope with these three Bishops harmed greatly the reputation of the Church. https://onepeterfive.com/a-letter-from-chile-surviving-the-post-conciliar-wasteland/ I am a man. He that can take, let him take it. 13 Then were little children presented to him, that he should impose hands upon them and pray. And the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said to them: Suffer the little children and forbid them not to come to me: for the kingdom of heaven is for such. 15 And when he had imposed hands upon them, he departed from thence. The Latin Mass is literary. The other is not. While reading the Latin in the Roman Missal, I feel like I am thinking in the language of the apostles and having a conversation with them. You can get communion and confession but nothing else in the New Order. Even non-Catholics recognized that back in 1971 when they signed the letter that resulted in the Agatha Christie Indult. I do not believe that any Catholic could consider himself to be literary, musical, and artistic and attend such a thing, and God speaks in those three ways.

[Chorus] I'll let Him take accountability For everything that's wrong with me Can't hold myself responsible So I blame the metaphysical If Jesus died for all our sins He left one behind, the body I'm in Same hands that made the moon and the stars Got carpal tunnel and forgot some parts I don't know what I believe But it's easier to think He made a mistake with me [Verse 2] Do you ever see someone and think, "Wow, they got lucky"?
