This is real footage. HMS Hood sank on May 24, 1941 in about three minutes with 1,415 crew. Only Ted Briggs, Bob Tilburn, and Bill Dundas survived to be rescued two hours later by the destroyer HMS Electra. Not shown is the sinking of the Bismarck. Battleships King George V and Rodney sank her on May 27, 1941, 110 survivors.
