Outside his father’s store in San Francisco’s North Beach, Figoni Hardware, my friend met Bob Hope. They had a nice conversation … about Bob’s eye problem. Figoni sold live worms, too.

Mentioning Bob Hope, I remember an old joke from Albania: What's the difference between this country and the US? Well, America has got Faith Popcorn, BOB HOPE, Courtney Love and Johnny Cash, Albania has no faith, no hope, no love - and no cash! :-)
