I met a walnut farmer at Mass yesterday. His name is Ralph Keeley IV, and his farm is in Colusa, CA, which is 70 miles from St. Stephen the First Martyr in Sacramento, CA. His mom is Susan L. Keeley, a professional life coach, rhgcoaching.com.
Antonio comes from Lafayette, 70 miles. Previously, I mentioned Jacob from Oroville, 70 miles, and Carl from Red Bluff, 140 miles. Other distant locations are Lodi, Valley Springs, Grass Valley, and Shingle Springs. The Latin Mass brings people together from all over.

People are looking for that "thing" that fills the void. The Traditional Latin Mass and its reverence and dignity fills the void. Simple. The Novus Ordo lacks the reverence and dignity required of most humans (that's why their numbers are dwindling).

Hi Sam: Someone asked me once for my opinion of Junipero Serra. I said was he was a fine man. I gave him a fact about Franciscan animal husbandry: there were several hundred thousand head of cattle before the Mission system was shut down, and there were no cattle before. He said the Indians had a better life before Serra arrived. I said they were poor before he arrived and wealth was being created. He said that that was my measure of wealth. By every measure known, property is wealth. The conversation worsened. So, I said good-bye. Bob
