A council held at Rome in 382 under St. Damasus gave a complete list of the canonical books of both the Old Testament and New Testament, which is identical with the list given at the Council of Trent (Italy), the 19th ecumenical council of the Catholic Church, 1545 - 63. Before 382, the manuscripts had not been organized, numbered, and chaptered. Other writings were deemed not inspired: excluded. That is the Canon; that is the Bible; there is no other. Nor is there any other inspired testament of anything at all. The apostolic age ended with Johnny.
