Did the Pope say there is no Hell and unsaved souls are annihilated?
Recently, he had a conversation with an Italian journalist atheist, Eugenio Scalfari. The pope has had many conversations with this man. “During the meeting Scalfari asked the pope where ‘bad souls’ go, to which he was quoted as responding: ‘They are not punished. Those who repent obtain God’s forgiveness and take their place among the ranks of those who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot be forgiven disappear. A hell doesn’t exist, the disappearance of sinning souls exists.’” https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/30/vatican-scrambles-to-clarify-popes-denial-that-hell-exists The Pope knows that this man is going to publish what was said. Almost all the Catholic world rushed to the Pope’s defense and made excuses. Why? Servility. Noun, definition – one who acts like a slave or an inferior; one who cringes, fawns, and abjectly submits. Adjective form: servile. Synonyms: menial, obsequious, slavish. In the political world, this is called plausible deniability, and this a purely political animal, the worst pope in history. Resist him.
