Fr Terrence Gordon

On the evening of April 28th, 2023, Father Terrence Gordon, FSSP, died of an unexpected heart attack. In his last moments, he was assisted by his brother Father James Gordon, FSSP, who gave him last rites.

Biography

Before entering seminary, Fr. Terrence Gordon received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He served in the United States Marine Corps as an officer and reached the rank of Captain. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, for over a year as a Platoon Commander.

He entered Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) in 1999. He was permanently incorporated into the FSSP on April 8, 2005, and ordained a deacon the next day on April 9. Ordination to the priesthood followed on June 3, 2006.

His older brother James was ordained in 2004, and his younger brother Dennis in 2008.

A requiem Mass was held today in Sacramento for Terrence. Masses were offered at all the FSSP churches in the US. The FSSP is a religious order that offers the Latin Mass only.
