See Paragraphs 2357, 2358, and 2359 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Paragraph 2359 states: "Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection."

The weight of what declared saints have said is far greater than any other claims.

According to the teachings of the Church, there are only two genders, male and female, and it can be inferred that there are only two expressions of sexuality. This is nothing new, and every Catholic knows it. "I am developing the doctrine. Pray I don't develop it any further," Henry VIII whispers.
