Latin timeline

This fast-moving video shows when classical and vulgar Latin appeared and their Romance offspring debuted. The start is 1200 BC, descending calendar years follow, a breakthrough occurs at a most high date, then calendar years start advancing. Noteworthy is the influence of Latin (medieval, renaissance, new) on English and German. All the while, Latin remained the official language of the Church, and so it is still today and for good reason. Otherwise, there is babble and exclusion. I cannot go to a Spanish Mass, but I can go a Latin Mass anywhere and be with everybody.
