Hello Bobby, how are You, hope You are fine!
It's fascinating, that You mention here this small village, it's not very well known among strangers, not even Austrians themselves, but it's one of my favorite places. So it came:
I collect, among other items, postmarks (maybe a bit weird, but it harms no one), and especially those, which contain Our Lady's Name, and there are still a lot in Austria, which are called "Maria XY", etc. But the most beautiful of all these names is, to my opinion, "Maria Alm am Steinernen Meer", a name as if invented by a gifted poet. The parochial church isn't even a Marian shrine anymore, but I took many years ago a pilgrimage there, prayed in the church, and of course visited the mail outlet. For the picture postcard, I wrote a haiku (7 - 5 7):
Die weißen Wolken
Über dem Steinernen Meer
Und Mariens Schrein.
