Titled, “Environmentalism Is a Religion,” the speech was given in September 2003 to the Commonwealth Club of California, founded in 1903 in San Francisco as a non-profit, non-partisan educational organization, making it the nation’s oldest and largest public affairs forum.
The speech focuses firstly on environmentalism. I don’t share Mr. Crichton’s views on religion. Each man must make his own choices. God Almighty is looking for every man and woman, and I got lucky. Attempts to explain why the finding occurred at the fledgling age of eight are fleeting.
It might interest you to know that in all the investigations I did, I never asked why someone did what was done.
