Münster is close to the Netherlands. “In the entrance area (southwest transept) is a statue of St. Barbara which is not very prominently displayed. She holds a round tower with three windows in her hands. The legend has it that the saint was locked in a tower by her father to keep her from marriage and Christian influence.
