Nuclear is a zero-emission clean energy source. It generates power through fission, which is the process of splitting uranium atoms to produce energy. The heat released by fission is used to create steam that spins a turbine to generate electricity.
What would happen if all the electricity in the world stopped? There would be no power to use your fridge, and telephone lines would be down and the phone signal lost. Your mobile phone would be useless as the battery dwindles, with no backup charging option. Your gas central heating won’t work, and your water supply would soon stop pumping clean water.
