That was then. What about now? How can one say that liberty is defended? Something else is going on. “…[Q]uasi líberi, et non quasi velámen habéntes malítiæ libertátem ….” “As free, and not as making liberty a cloak for malice ….”

Sir, with regard to America’s position in the world and defending freedom, your party wears a cloak for malice. Your party is far and away from pugilism for freedom’s sake, and malice takes the shape of censorship and deplatforming.
