I hope Stine, age 79, sues the pants off Scholastic, not for gain, but to protect his poetic license and the licenses of other writers. This is very important. The SPLC and the SSPX and the Catholic Church can handle their affairs without my criticism or help, but many writers have few resources, and a successful lawsuit against Scholastic would protect the license to write freely.
