The restoration and revitalization of French monasteries is impressive, and they are using all the modern technologies. If I could restart my education and thus improve it, I would study Latin and English, with a side order of French, probably at SoCal's Thomas Aquinas College, whose methodology is tutor-led discussion (not lectures) on the Great Books. The College’s syllabus is composed of the seminal texts that have animated Western civilization. Then, I would turn myself over to a monk educator.
