I listen to knowledgeable and experienced people and shun blowhards. I listen to my doctor because he knows more about treatment than I do, my priest because he has heard my weaknesses, my tax man because he will keep me out of trouble, and I listen to the parents of students I tutor because they love their children.
Here is a link to an interview with Congresswoman Salazar of Florida. She addresses the effect of Marxism on the government response to oil shortages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yrZLUouFrI The clerk at my nearest gas station told me that prices at the pump have been rising about 7 cents every few days, affecting truckers who travel the I-80 corridor. When I step outside, the trucks sound distant, but they are close. Enemies inside and outside America push extremist green activism while I crave level-headed people like Salazar. Here is the best explanation I have heard about going green. It comes from Michael Shellenberger of California. First, I linked Wikipedia; second, I linked his TEDx Talks. It is so funny that YouTube inserted itself by linking to climate change when his speech was posted, as if YouTube has a bunch of experts on energy technology. No, I think they have experts on information technology. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Shellenberger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-yALPEpV4w Also, you can read what Father Robert Spitzer, SJ, past president of Gonzaga University, says about electricity, fusion power, and a vortex that could draw hydrogen from outer space and suck all the water out of it, which is confirmed by NASA. The 11/27/2021 post is in the Faith Category and is titled Fusion.
