I was in the public library before Alexander arrived for his tutoring session. I had some time, so I walked around the teen section. Not one classic could I see but for Marvel magazines. There were the usual Woke ideology titles. On another occasion, I walked around the children’s section and adult section and could not find one book on classical Latin or Greek. Moreover, books in modern languages contradict the desire of immigrant parents for their children to learn English. Alexander views himself as an unattached (unhyphenated) American, another commonality we share.
